Welcome to Geek [Supplies] where friends memorize their favorite books and recite them to each other. The François Truffaut film Fahrenheit 451 came out 50 years ago on September 6th. The Ray Bradbury book the film is based on celebrated it’s 60th anniversary three years ago. We lost Ray Bradbury, a national treasure, in 2012. Here are some items to celebrate all things Fahrenheit 451!
THE Book
This is a bit of a tease. This beautiful edition of the Ray Bradbury book was published by The Folio Society. It is, unfortunately, out of print. If you are a bibliophile, I highly recommend you click through to their site and view all of their incredible publications.
Stickers
These stickers are available from Redbubble. Usually I do T-shirts but wanted to do something different. Although I do think all of these designs are also available as T-shirts. Stick one on your notebook, computer, luggage…but not your books please.

Wearables
Looking for some new kicks? Something to adorn your ears? Or, perhaps, something to keep your neck warm on a cool morning while you are drinking a warm beverage and reading a book?

Art Prints
I would hang any of these prints in my library if it weren’t for all the bookshelves in the way. My favorite is the one in the middle. I love that EchoLiteraryArts has used Fahrenheit 451 as her example for climax as a literary term.

Other Books by Bradbury
When Ray Bradbury died in 2012 many people had wonderful things to say about him including Barack Obama. From a story in The Guardian: Bradbury’s “gift for storytelling”, said Obama, ” reshaped our culture and expanded our world”, but the author “also understood that our imaginations could be used as a tool for better understanding, a vehicle for change, and an expression of our most cherished values. There is no doubt that Ray will continue to inspire many more generations with his writing…” Get your hands on these books and start reading!
Miscellany
Oh how I love Etsy for all of the wonderfully unique items you can find there!
